Stefana Pecher, MD, FAAFP, CCFP, MCFP, a Board Certified Family Physician, has joined the medical staff of the Westerly Hospital.  Her office is located at the Upper Level Building, Circle Park 2, 82 Norwich-Westerly Road, North Stonington, Connecticut.

Dr. Pecher earned her medical degree from Charles University, 1^st Medical Faculty, in Prague, Czech Republic. Following her second year of urology residency at Charles University, she relocated to the United States and completed a research fellowship in prostate cancer at the University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to complete her Family Practice residency with the Bryn Mawr Family Practice Residency Program of Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania. She later opened the new Bryn Mawr Hospital Health Care Center.
